Cicero Learning
Business & Economics

Online business & economics courses, taught one to one.

Cicero teaches business & economics the way it deserves to be taught — one specialist teacher, one student, real work. Six accredited online business & economics courses for grades 5–12, each built around the child in front of the teacher.

No lecture hall, no fifty-minute bell. Your child reads, thinks, and gets to argue their case with a specialist who has the time to answer.

How it works

What an online business & economics class actually looks like.

Two live sessions a week with the same teacher all year. Between them your child works, and comes back with questions. Because it is one-to-one, the plan bends to the student rather than the other way around.

A student who becomes obsessed with one corner of the subject spends real time there. A student working toward an exam works backward from it. Both finish with a transcript grade and work worth keeping.

Built around your child

One teacher and one student means the material is pitched at the reader in front of them, not at an average student who doesn't exist.

Writing every week

Clear written argument is the skill that lasts. Work comes back marked and gets rewritten — the loop that class size takes away.

Discussion, not lecture

With one student in the room, the session is a conversation. Your child does most of the talking, and thinking out loud is the point.

Grades and credit that travel

Cicero is accredited with NCA CASI, NWAC and SACS CASI via Cognia. Coursework earns a transcript colleges recognize.

Why it works

Why business & economics gains from one-to-one.

It is a conversation

Real understanding shows up when a student has to explain and defend an idea out loud — something almost no one does in a class of thirty.

The work can be right

One teacher, one student means the reading, the pace and the problems are chosen for this child, not a syllabus average.

Feedback that lands

Every piece of work comes back marked closely and gets another pass. That loop is where the learning actually happens.
