Jason Bogart

Jason is a seasoned educator with over 20 years of experience in international schools around the world. He has taught English literature and epistemology in the both the British curriculum (IGCSE) and the international baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.

Originally from Canada, Jason earned double bachelor’s degrees in English literature and education from Saint Mary’s University and Acadia University. He then headed overseas to begin a career of teaching in international schools including the Lycee Francais in Hong Kong, Aqaba International School in Jordan, and the Yew Chung International School in Chonqing China. <> <> One of Jason’s specialties is the IB Theory of Knowledge curriculum, an innovative course in philosophy and epistemology that teaches students how to think critically about information, how we know something, and rhetoric. Jason also has deep experience teaching English literature, is a published poet, and teaches public speaking coach. <> <> Jason aims to deliver a challenging, creative, and positive student learning experience that focuses on comprehension, inquiry, dialogue, and appropriate academic risk-taking. Exceptional in preparing students for external examinations.
