Teaching Philosophy & Approach

I strive to create a student centered approach to learning and tailor my teaching to a person's learning styles. I also create an environment of dialogue and exchange and believe students learn best, when they are actively engaged in the process.

I see my role in the classroom as not a disseminator of information, but a facilitator of learning, and everything from the structure of the syllabus to the papers, tests, and presentations are designed to meet that goal.

“I strive to create a student centered approach to learning and tailor my teaching to a person’s learning styles.”
