Ashley has over twenty years of experience in higher and secondary education as a teacher and an administrator. Her specialties include language arts, Latin, and Roman history and culture. She is also an experienced voice instructor.
Ashley earned her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College and a masters degree in vocal performance from Temple University. She has taught in private schools in Philadelphia, including at The Philadelphia School (K–8) where she taught reading, writing, and literature, and Friends Select (K–12), where she taught Latin.
In addition to her work as an educator, Ashley has been an editor and college counselor. She has experience guiding students through the high school and college admissions process.
Ashley is an insightful, spirited educator who knows how to leverage the intellectual curiosity of her students and instill a love of learning.
