Families contemplating the shift from traditional, brick and mortar school to homeschooling, worldschooling, or some variant thereof, face a lot of anxiety. The questions and concerns can feel overwhelming.
Will my child thrive?
Will she succeed?
Will he stay on track?
What about college?
What about socialization?
We sat down with a Cicero parent, Hope Paterson, to hear about her family’s journey from traditional school to what she calls their “mosaic of alternative options,” which included two courses with Cicero. Hope talks about her daughter’s transformation as a learner, how “being seen” helped build her confidence, and how deep bonds between teacher and student are enabled by the 1:1 model.
Enjoy the talk.
