Uriel Sade

Uriel first started teaching and tutoring math and science as an undergraduate student in Tel Aviv where he was studying for a degree in engineering, eventually taking a position at a private school for gifted children where he taught courses in engineering, science, and “experiential math,” using games.
After graduation, Uriel worked for a large learning center in Israel, helping it to expand and open new locations. But, his true passion lay with teaching, not business expansion, and after a short while he was back in the classroom helping high school students to succeed in their final exams in math and physics.

Uriel loves working with kids to develop innovative mental models around math and science. He’s published three books about teaching math using a virtual fantasy world that he’s built.

Overall, Uriel has 13 years of experience teaching a wide range of students, from young primary age students to high schoolers preparing for college. His core area of interest is math and science, but he has a side passion in history and geography, and has experience teaching those as well.

Teaching Philosophy & Approach

First, I love knowledge. I love playing with knowledge and combining different topics in order to build a beautiful puzzle that helps me understand my surroundings better and reveals the immense beauty of the world. Delivering this to my students is my main goal in teaching.

I approach teaching through experiences, interesting and fun projects, and making the topics I teach relevant to my students' lives.

All along one of my biggest concerns is my students' emotional well-being while studying, which needs constant care.
